Welcome to Fair Entry. This site is designed to make registering exhibits for the Polk County Fair easier than ever. If you have any questions at any point, please consult your fair book or contact a fair board member, FFA Advisor, or the Extension Office at 515-957-5760. It is important that you read all of the instructions and sections.

Entries are due July 1, Please note the office will be closed on July 1!

**Late entries can be made for 2 business days following July 1. A $50.00 per day fee will be assessed for late entries.**

**All late entries have to be filled out in the office. Late entries must be paid in cash or check.**

Payment

• Entries can be paid via credit card (online only), cash, or check.
• Payment of cash or check must be at the Polk County Extension Office by July 1, at 5 pm. Payments postmarked by July 1, but received after July 1, will not be accepted (unless the additional late fee is paid).
  • Make checks payable to Polk County 4-H & FFA Fair Association.
  • Late entries can be made up to two days after July 1 but must be done in person at the Polk County Extension Office. Any participants with late entries will be charged an additional $50 per day.

T-Shirts

• Every youth who signs up to participate in the Polk County Fair will receive a free, grey exhibitor t-shirt. T-shirts are sponsored by DeeZee Manufacturing. Addional shirts will not be for sale.
• T-shirts can be picked up at the following locations:
  • Booth set-up on July 12, 4-7 pm
  • Building Exhibit Judging day on July 13
  • Livestock Office on July 14
• First come, first serve on sizes. Selecting a size in Fair Entry does not guarantee this size will be available.

Building Exhibit Entry Tags

• Entry tags will be mailed to you with the specific information from Fair Entry.
• If you plan to make changes to building exhibits after they have been entered, please let Marci or Megan know as soon as possible to ensure the availability of updated entry tags.

YQCA

• Required training that must be completed prior to submitting animal entries with the exception of Pet, Cavy, Dog, and Horse.
