FairEntry information:
Register all entries for each exhibitor in the family before proceeding to the Payment section.
Each exhibitor should have entries for either Breeding and/or Market along with animal information to include breed, etc.
Be sure to click the "Submit" button when you have completed your entries. (Have you attached an animal to each market or breeding class? If you do not know a tattoo or tag number, please enter NA for now.)
Check your email inbox for a confirmation email with your list of entries and related fees.
You will receive a second email when your entries have been approved by the show.
Rules:
1.Open to all Kansas 4-H and FFA members 7 as of January 1, 2024, and not over 19 as of January 1, 2024.
2.Entry Fee:$10 per animals and $5 for showman
3. Late entry and day of show entry: INCREASES TO $15PERANIMAL
4.Breed classes with a minimum of 3 head per breed; market and breeding.
5.All classes will be broken by breed then weight.
6.Weights will either be declared at the show or actual weight at the scale that day, exhibitor’s choice.
7.Classes accepted at the judge’s discretion.
8.Barn opens at 7A.M. day of show. Goats must be checked in by 9A.M. Market goats will weigh in between 8 and 9 A.M. Sheep must be checked in by 10 A.M. and weigh in between 10 and 11 A.M.
9.Breed qualifications and classes will be based on state show rules.
10.Over $2,000 dollars in prizes money plus other prizes.
11.Exhibitorsmustprovideandcleanupownbedding,stallareaandoutbythetrailers.
12.In no event shall the sponsors or directors of this show be held responsible for any loss or damage to property, exhibitor or other persons while on the fair grounds regardless of the cause. All diligence will be used to prevent loss or mishap.
13.TheHarveyCountyShowCommitteewillmakefinalinterpretationsonallrules.
14.Exhibitors must show their own animals.
15.The purpose of this show is to provide an educational experience for youth in the 4-H/FFA Sheep and Goat programs.
